Dear Pickles Da Clown,
On behalf of the 27th Wilton Blueberry Festival in Wilton, ME, I would like to thank you for coming. The children and adults both enjoyed you very much. Our festival is all about everyone, especially the children as you can see. The surprise visit at the motel room was wonderful and my guests liked the one on one.

Dear Pickles Da Clown,
I just want to say thanks for your work and entertainment by appearing at Springfest 2009. You did and awesome job entertaining at our spring event for the citizens of Fort Mill. I would highly recommend you to any other organization and your skills playing a clown are outstanding and fun for all of those you touch.
Thanks again,

I’m writing this letter to commend to you the high entertainment quality and evangelistic effectiveness of the ministry work of Barbara Willard.
At our church, Goodwill Church (EPC) in Montgomery NY, Barbara ran a full-fledged puppet ministry as well as a clown ministry. I was never a fan of either ministry approach until I saw her work and the undeniable spiritual impact it had on people of all ages. The quality of her “Puppetlady” productions and her “Pickles Da Clown” work surprised and educated me as to how effective and powerful such ministries can be in terms of evangelism.
Barbara quickly gained a foothold in our church and other churches in our area as being a fun, reliable source of fresh shows and appearances which always added to whatever we were doing in any particular season. Since she is easy to work with and is superior with children, we also hired her to work in our nursery.
Though sorry to see her move to South Carolina, all of us here at her old church in New York are delighted that she has decided to take her two ministries to the next level. We know many will be blessed.
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. John L. Torres, Jr.
Senior Pastor
Dear Barbara,
Lately, I was remembering all the great ministry that you did at Goodwill Church, in NY, and wanted to thank you for it. The passion that you brought towards the creation of the Cornerstone Puppet Team was incredible. So many adults, teens and kids were drawn into making puppets, learning the skills and performing. I saw a transformation in many people who participated and watched, as their creative gifts were unleashed. You trained up a whole team of people to share the Gospel and make children laugh through puppets. It was an amazing ministry that had lasting effects on all who were involved in it! Who knew that puppets could change lives? Apparently you did! Thanks for bringing that to the church.
I also remember how impressed I was by your gifts in clowning. From the “birth” of Pickles Da Clown at Montgomery Day I knew that you had found a unique way to entertain and relate to people. Over the years I have seen you develop Pickles into a professionally hilarious clown and know that you will use her to brighten the lives of many people.
Keep doing what you are doing! May God bless you, your puppets and Pickles as you share love and bring light wherever you go.
Blessings,
Pastor Jordan Wong

Hi Pickles,
Thanks for attending the 2009 Kids Day Columbia event, the Columbia Action Council loved your energy and interaction with the public. With so many children and parents your warm attitude welcomed people to approach you without fear. Children that were afraid of clowns before have gotten rid of their fear due to your friendly methodology.
In addition, thanks for providing the children with balloons and candy. I heard so many children say "go see the clown, her name is PICKLES, she is nice and she gave me candy and a balloon!" This was an added plus in getting smiles on children's faces.
Again, Pickles thanks so much for coming to our event. We hope to see you again.
Sincerely,
Yvette Stribling

"I have recently enjoyed having Barbara Willard (alias ‘Pickles Da Clown’) serving with us at Westminster as our Puppet Director and our favorite clown. Although we have had a fledgling puppet team for several years, this year has been outstanding due to Barbara’s unique ability to perform, lead and inspire our youth. Countless adults and children have indicated that they have never enjoyed the puppets as much as they have this year and they have enjoyed her presence at several functions as ‘Pickles’ too.

Pickles Da Clown was a big hit at our first annual St. Paddy's On Main Music Festival. Children were lined up to meet the endearing clown who entertained them and made balloon animals. So colorful and bright! An instant magnet for the wee ones!
We just wanted to let you know that you did a great job yesterday! My children enjoyed watching you roam the streets at ChristmasVille. Hope to see you today!!
